Margaret Ann Sporter

Of Mt. Washington, born December 11, 1923. Passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age 100 years old.

Devoted wife of the late Frank Edward Sporter for 62 years. The eighth child of nine children of the late Paul and Anna Cugini. Sister of Rose DePietro, brother Paul Cugini, Helen Petrangeli, Elvera Mabe, Philomena DuBois, Laura Wilkes, Brother Gregory Cugini and surviving sister Mary Miles. Loving mother of Robert A. (Linda) Sporter, Frank D. (JoAnn) Sporter and Paul B. (Jan) Sporter. Cherished Grandmother of Robert J. Sporter, (Chris), Melissa L. Schavoine (Tony), Nicole M. Foreman (Matt), Frank M. Sporter (Kristin), Stefanie Sansotta (Brian), Deanna Goodall (Matt), Paul J. Sporter (Daniela), Deb Hawkinberry (Bob), Don Shipley (Lisa), Breanna Mahlmeister. Loving Great Grandmother to many Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a registered nurse, graduate of St. Francis Hospital in New Castle, PA. She worked as a nurse in both New Castle and Pittsburgh, PA.
