Obituary for Louise S Parsons

Louise S. Parsons, 98, (nee Shaw) of Lima Estates formerly of Aldan, died May 30th 2019.

Born and raised in Folsom she was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, class of 1938. Mrs Parsons worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and eventually moved up to an administrative position, retiring after 35 years.

She had been a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Media and was a volunteer. As her sons were in school, she supported them in all their activities. She particularly enjoyed watching golf and was a faithful Senior PGA volunteer at all of their local tournaments.

Wife of the late Andrew Parsons, who died in 1980; survivors include her sons, Allen (Barbara), Barry (Carol) and Kenneth (Valerie)Parsons; her grandchildren Stacey Darron, Lara Parsons, Kenny Parsons; great-grandchildren Alexis and Olivia .

It was her wish that contributions be made to the ACTS Good Samaritan fund and/or the Wounded Warriors Project.

Her Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State road Drexel Hill with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
