$5 MIRACLES!

Carol at times hilariously commiserated about struggles as a single mom, giving God thanks for many miracles of mysterious provision over the years. She marveled no matter how tight funds seemed, how close the financial deadlines, how difficult to impossible cash flow obstacles were to surmount, she'd always seem to have a token $5 left over balancing her checkbook. She'd typically share--with no small mirth, jesting about the works of Christ--that her finances were a modern-day manifestation of "The (Multiplication) Miracle of the Loaves and the Fishes." She truly trusted her God.
