Obituary

Margaret (Peggy) Burkholder of Bel Air, MD, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Peggy was the beloved wife of Chip and cherished mother of Rachel (Trevor) and their children, Cora and Max, and Cliff (Cassie) and their daughter, Ada.

Peggy was an incredibly wonderful wife, mother, Nana, and friend to so many. We will all love and miss her forever.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 12, at Bush River Yacht Club from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

In remembrance of Peggy, the family asks that donations be made to the Kaufman Cancer Center in lieu of flowers. Donations can be mailed to the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, 520 Upper Chesapeake Drive, Suite 405, Bel Air, MD 21014, or made online at uchfoundation.org.

Peggy brought so much fun to our get togethers. I’ve only known her a few years, but she made it feel like we were life-long friends. Her love and knowledge of music and the Ravens was immeasurable and as an Eagles fan, we had a healthy football relationship, cheering on each other’s team or consoling each other after a loss; our motto: Birds of a Feather, Flock Together! We will miss you so much, Peg, but you will never be forgotten. Love you, Peg O’ My Heart. 💔🕊️🍻
