York Beach

Steve was close to my age among the eight cousins who spent summers at York Beach so we did a lot of things together: swimming, body surfing, fishing, picnicing at the Nubble and Bald Head Cliff, walking to Short Sands for bowling, movies, Goldenrod taffy, rides and miniature golf at Funland. He was a good companion, and I'll always have clear memories of Steve at York Beach. Over the years, he and I rarely crossed paths due to living many miles apart, but we did a few times and always had friendly and easy conversations about our families. He was a memorable cousin.
