A recent encounter

I only met Norma on 2 occasions at recent events hosted by my oldest sister, Jacqui, a good friend of Normas. I most recently saw her at a 4th of July Party on the back bay in AC. She was by my estimation a very vibrant, warm hearted & kind woman with a great love for life & for her family & partner Harvey. She was taken far too soon & will be greatly missed. I am praying for her family & friends. God rest her soul.

NorMom; You will Always be in my Heart

Dear NorMom;  You will be forever in my heart and I will always miss you.  You are my Philadelphia family.  Throughout the years, there are so many loving, memorable, heartfelt special times I have spent with you, “the Harv” and your beautiful daughters - whom I am proud and happy to call my girlfriends (aka my adopted sisters).  Your legacy lives in each one of your - beautiful daughters and grandchildren.

Most recently, we were driving back to center city, from a wonderful dinner and live music (that you booked) at “The Pullman”;  after dinner, we went to check on one of your events.  I love your taste in music, enjoy our time together, and would and accommodate your any request — we stopped at a shopping center restaurant in South Philly.  Upon entering, the unexpected lively sounds of SALSA permeated the air.  The tables were moved aside so the entire space was now being utilized as a dance floor!   Needless to say, a huge smile came to both of us and my feet couldn’t stand still!    I will miss you and your warm, fun=loving smile.

This is Norma - delightful, loving, kind, caring, warm, fantastic, dynamic, “break into laughter and dance” kind of woman!  Her untimely death is awful, unbelievable, heart-wrenching, painful and NOT fair — there are so many people who will miss your brightness in their lives.

Her light is gone (and everyone's life she has touched) but, let's let her continue to shine in the sun by day and in the stars at night. My prayers are holding her close in my heart.  Thank you, NorMom for all you did - for me, your family, your friends and business associates.

With deepest sympathy.  May you rest in peace.   I Love You.

Aunt Norma

My heart is very heavy...I am so sorry for everyone’s loss.  Aunt Norma is the one who told me at just the right time:  Love is limitless…there is plenty to go around.  She is right.  And I’m sending lots of love.

So many memories

My husband and his friends graduated with Norma and I've known her since high school. We interacted through business -- we'd hang out together at different events, either with talent she booked or she was observing them. I always loved seeing Norma -- we had so much in common and could talk on and on. Her loss is such a terrible shock but at least she seemed to live each to the fullest. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
